There’s just something so magical about photographing families among the towering sunflowers at Lichfield Maize Maze. The golden blooms stretch up towards the sky, creating the most dreamy backdrop for capturing love, laughter, and all those sweet little in-between moments.
I recently had the joy of photographing Vanessa, Matt, and their gorgeous baby girl, Evie in the sunflower fields – and wow, these photos are some of my favourites!
Evie was an absolute star of the session. From her curious little looks to her sweet smiles, she lit up every frame. Watching her snuggled up in her parents’ arms, surrounded by bright yellow petals, was just the most heart-melting sight.
Vanessa and Matt were so natural in front of the camera too – full of laughter and warmth, making the whole shoot feel relaxed and fun. These are exactly the kinds of sessions I love: where families can just enjoy being together while I capture all the joy and connection between them.
The combination of sunflowers, soft skies, and lots of love made for such a beautiful set of photos – ones I know they’ll treasure for years to come.
